Wine country elegance at its finest, the new Westwind Kitchen food and wine pairing experience at Caymus-Suisun is the ultimate mix of fine wine and farm-to-table cuisine. Chef Matt Spector curates an incredible menu with seasonal ingredients grown right onsite in the gardens at Caymus-Suisun. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and paired with Caymus wine. Step Inside this incredible new experience in Fairfield, CA. You don't have to travel to Napa to experience the best of Northern California's food and wine.

The Experience Begins with a Tour of the Caymus-Suisun Gardens

Take a walk around the beautiful grounds at Caymus-Suisun and take a tour unlike any other. Your guide will walk you to the gardens where several varieties of fruits, vegetables and gourds are grown. Each variety of fruit or vegetable is featured in a seasonal dish at Westwind Kitchen.

Fun fact: the grounds at Caymus-Suisun used to be a fruit drying facility in the 20th century.

After the Garden Tour, Enjoy an Exceptional Seasonal Menu with Caymus Wine Pairings

After the Garden tour, take a walk to Westwind Kitchen, the brand new culinary escape at Caymus-Suisun. The dining area features beautiful vineyard views, as well as the stunning architecture that matches the chic and modern style of the tasting room.

Your host will guide you through each bite and wine pairing, making it an immersive wine tasting experience unlike any other. The culinary journey begins with a farm-fresh amuse bouche and continues with incredible farm-to-table plates and estate wine pairings. Each dish is beautifully plated, with fresh ingredients and unexpected flavors curated by Chef Matt Spector.

Fun fact: the name Westwind Kitchen comes from the language of the indigenous peoples who originally inhabited this land, the Patwin tribe. Suisun translates to "west wind".

The Experience Ends with a Sweet Pairing

In my opinion, no meal is complete without a sweet finish, and thankfully Chef Matt surprised us with a wonderful seasonal dessert. Our experience ended with a delectable pear tart and Port wine pairing.

Fun fact: Suisun Valley used to be a renowned pear and stone fruit growing region in the 19th and 20th centuries.
