Suisun Valley's AVA Celebration Returns!

Did you hear that the Suisun Valley AVA Celebration is happening again this year? From December 26-30, this is the biggest and best Winter event to celebrate the anniversary of Suisun Valley's AVA designation! You won't want to miss it, so read on to learn more about the event and how to secure tickets before they sell out!

The Suisun Valley AVA Celebration takes place over five days

To maximize the enjoyment of this amazing event, tickets are sold for the days of December 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30. The AVA Celebration is a full-day event, so purchasing a ticket guarantees that you'll be able to enjoy several Suisun Valley wineries over the course of one day. Choose the day that works best for your schedule and make sure to bring your posse for some extra fun! Note that Friday, December 26; Saturday, December 27; and Sunday, December 28 are the most popular days and will likely sell out first.

The AVA Celebration is the Winter version of Passport Sunday

If you've attended Passport Sunday, you know it's an incredible event in Suisun Valley that is highly anticipated year after year. If you haven't attended Passport Sunday, it's a really fun event where you purchase a wine country "passport" and take a self-guided tour around the valley. The passport allows you to visit a dozen Suisun Valley wineries/local businesses and experience special tastings and attractions. You can choose your own path through the valley and explore any of the participating wineries or businesses from 11am to 4pm. The Suisun Valley AVA Celebration is basically the same concept, but it takes place in the Winter rather than Spring. Like Passport Sunday, you'll get a souvenir glass to take home!

There are special tastings & other fun experiences at each participating winery/business

What makes the Suisun Valley AVA Celebration special is each participating winery and business hosts exclusive tastings and experiences for ticket holders. Many wineries will have set tasting menus with specialty wines that are typically only offered as limited releases. Consider a ticket to this event a key that unlocks a special one-of-a-kind experience where you can try new wines that you may not have tried before. Some places will also offer food and fun snacks to accompany the tasting. Prepare for fun surprises around every corner!

It's a good idea to purchase tickets in advance

While we're a little ways away from the event, the Suisun Valley AVA Celebration will sell out! Purchase your tickets as soon as possible to ensure you'll be able to attend. Remember that Friday, Saturday & Sunday are the most popular days and will likely sell out first. To get tickets, click here.

Go with friends and family and bring a designated driver

Touring up to a dozen wineries in a day sounds like a lot, and it is! While you don't have to make a stop at each location, it is fun to experience more than one tasting. It's also a fun event to enjoy with a group of friends or with family. That being said, it's important to bring a designated driver to ensure that someone can help your group get from point A to point B safely. Plus, designated drivers get to attend the event for free!

Don't want to ask someone to be the DD? No problem! Tam's Luxury Tours is offering shuttle services throughout the AVA Celebration. Click here to learn more.
