Recently named the Number One Wine Region in the country by USA today, Suisun Valley is the up-and-coming wine region that you just have to check out. Suisun Valley has experienced incredible growth over the past five years, and many new wineries are planting their roots in this small wine country that is now getting the recognition it deserves!
The newest member of the Suisun Valley community is Sentivo. Sentivo has a tasting room in Somerset, California and recently opened a new tasting room in Suisun Valley. Located on historic Rockville Corner, Sentivo built their new tasting room where the old ice house and fruit stand once stood. Although it's out with the old and in with the new, Sentivo still kept some artifacts of the old buildings in the design of their sleek tasting room.
Here are the top reasons you need to visit Sentivo today!
They have three different tasting menus in addition to a choose-your-own tasting menu.
If you're looking for a variety of wines to try during a wine tasting, Sentivo is a great place to visit because they offer not just one, but three different tasting menus. Each menu features five different wines from their list. Go for the sparkling flight if you want something a little different or choose the tried-and-true Taste of Sentivo flight. If you want even more variety, you have the option to choose up to five wines from their wine list and create your own tasting flight. There's a little something for everyone at Sentivo!
They're the only tasting room open past eight o'clock.
Suisun Valley gets a little sleepy in the evenings with everything being closed early. All other wineries close at or before 6pm, but Sentivo decided to set themselves apart and keep their doors open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Why should the party end early on the weekend? Well, at Sentivo it doesn't have to!
Their wines give back to the community.
Who knew buying a bottle of wine could also benefit the community? Well, at Sentivo, they offer a Stretchers and Ladders red blend that is named after first responders. A purchase of this amazing wine donates to local firefighters and EMTs. So not only is it a great wine to enjoy any time of the year, but purchasing a bottle for yourself or your friends and family does good for the community!
