Your Guide to Suisun Valley Produce Stands
While Suisun Valley may be known now for its Petite Sirah and other wine varietals, its history as a growing region began with farming. Suisun Valley was a prominent stone fruit growing region throughout most of the 20th century. Over the years, the valley has transformed into the wine region that it is today. While most of the old fruit stands have since been retired, there are a variety of fruit stands that still deliver fresh Suisun Valley fruits and vegetables today. Read on to find out where to get the best produce in the valley.

Robledo's Produce
Right at the gateway to Suisun Valley is Robledo's Produce, a rustic farm stand with incredibly fresh finds. Known for their fresh-picked strawberries and watermelons, Robledo's Produce has a variety of fruits and vegetables that are always at optimal quality. Open March-November, you have to stock up at this produce stand during the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Larry's Produce
Open from June through November, Larry's Produce is a large fruit and vegetable stand that locals look forward to every year. Larry's is a staple in Suisun Valley, and their affordable prices and wide variety of produce makes them the perfect one-stop-shop for most of your fresh culinary ingredients. They even have you-pick flowers during the Summer that are too pretty to pass up.
In the Fall, Larry's Produce transforms their open field into a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is a huge hit every year, and they include fun activities such as a corn maze, corn pit, tractor rides, and more. Plus, most pumpkins are $5 each, making them a steal!

Secret Produce Stand
If you're new to the area or aren't too familiar with Suisun Valley, it's easy to overlook some of the gems we have that are off the main drag or out of plain view. This hidden produce stand on Rockville Road is so secret that it is only open during peak season. Depending on what is in season, this produce stand has a limited variety of organic fruits and walnuts. While the stock is limited, the quality is unlike anything else in the valley. My favorite items from this fruit stand include avocados and persimmon.
